The owner of Mom on A Mission blog came to me wanting a website revamp...It started with the logo! The mission behind her blog is feeding your family as well as spreading the love of Christ by cooking for those in need during these hard economical times. (She provides food for her family while she opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. Proverbs 31:15, 20.) Once a month her and her friends get together to make "cook n' freeze" meals for their family and for those in need in their neighborhood. Her blog also contains recipes, cooking advice, and general money saving tips when it comes to the kitchen.
The owner of Beilby Chiropractic was just starting his new business and gave me liberty to do whatever I wanted. His only request is that it looked fresh and professional. After looking through and playing with images of skeletons and chirpotractic-ish things to become inspired, I realized that breaking down the spine to simple shapes made something very interesting! After this discovery, the rest of the logo came along pretty easy. Vuala!
Simply Ideal Weight Loss came to me with a mission statement they wanted printed on a T-shirt, but no way to portray that mission. They wanted something unisex, ageless, organic, as well as eye catching to illustrate the mission statement "Take Back Your Life". With the long wish list, this is what came out of it! Reaching hands, leaves of life, and a whole lot of fun!
I joined a leads group this past summer as an avenue to network and expand my small business. This leads group was created for just that - for people who are either part of/own a small business or who are paid via commission to get together, talk about their professional lives, and hopefully get more business by means of the networking system. It just so happens they were just starting out and needed a logo to illustrate what they stood for...Connecting, Networking, and Business. Using these three key words this logo was born.
F.Y.I. For those of you who are thinking.."Why so much blue and green!?". I just wanted to let you know that no, I'm not obsessed with these colors in my design work. It just so happens to be either the color they wanted from the get-go, or they were already the color schemes of their existing businesses. =)
